The old building has been beautifully modernized, combining comfort with character. The decor and furnishings were tasteful, creating a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. Johnny, the host, was fantastic and communication was excellent. The location was peaceful and surrounded by stunning countryside, yet still easily accessible to the central region. Plus, being dog-friendly was a huge bonus. I highly recommend this place for a memorable stay.

The only minor drawbacks were the rough farm road leading to the bothy, which could be challenging for non-raised vehicles, and the mattress on the bed being a bit too hard. However, these were personal preferences and didn't significantly impact my overall experience.
